ICCR Scholarships

The Embassy of India, Kyiv invites applications from the citizens of Ukraine for studying in India under scholarship schemes of the Government of India administered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi for the academic year 2010-11.

The eligible and interested candidates can download the application form at the following link. They can also contact the Indian Embassy for the application forms and for guidance in filing up the same. The completed application forms should be submitted to the Embassy latest by 31 December 2009.

One of the criteria for selection is that the applicant should possess good knowledge of English language. Applicants will be required to pass an English proficiency test to be conducted by the Embassy. Preference will be given to students who have never studied in India before. Indian universities/educational institutions are autonomous and independent and hence have their own eligibility criteria. Forwarding of applications is thus not a guarantee of admission. ICCR is the final authority in selecting the candidate. A scholarship is awarded only when admission is confirmed by ICCR. Under these scholarship schemes, expenses on airfare are to be borne by the candidates themselves.
