Information about shifting of the Embassy

The Embassy will be shifted to new Chancery premises at 20-B, Maxima Berlinskogo Street, Kyiv (near Metro Dorohozhychy, location map) in the second week of February 2012. The Embassy will be fully functional from the new premises w.e.f. 15 February 2012.

Telephone numbers, Fax numbers, and E-mail address of the Embassy will remain unchanged.

The Visa/Consular Wing of the Embassy will remain closed from 09 to 14 February 2012 (Thursday to Tuesday).

The Embassy is located near Spartak Stadium about 7km from the Khreschyatic, the city centre. The nearest Metro Station is Lukyanivska. From Lukyanivska one should take trolley bus No. 18 or private mini buses No. 6/6K/18 for Spartak Stadium.

Working hours: The Embassy is open for business from Monday to Friday during following hours:

  • Visa and Passport Services:

    Peak tourist season i.e. 1st October to 31st March:
    To cater to the increasing rush of visa seekers, the following steps/changes have been put into practice with effect from 01 October:

    1. The number of visa/consular days has been increased from the exiting three to four with effect from 01 October. Thus the Embassy will accept visa applications/passport services on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:15 to 11:30.

    2. In addition to the existing visa counter which will accept visa applications only from individual tourists, a separate visa counter/queue will be operational with effect from 01 October for Indian Nationals, Tour operators/travel agents, Business visas, Employment visas and other types of visas.

    3. A separate time has been slotted for submission of visa applications by Tour operators. All tour operators are, therefore, requested to submit the visa applications at the Embassy only between 11:00 and 12:00.

    4. All visa applications will be pre-checked by the Embassy's interpreters/staff before being submitted to the Consular officer.

    Non-peak tourist season i.e. 1st April to 30th September:
    Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:15 to 11:30 hrs.
